The Venezuela striker put in an inspired performance and was justly rewarded
with the Baggies' fourth goal, which came in the 64th minute. He departed to a
standing ovation 12 minutes from time.
West Brom were three up at the break through goals from Matt Phillips, James
Morrison and captain Darren Fletcher.
Rondon reflected fondly on the result, which put Albion ninth in the Premier
League, telling Sky Sports 1: "We were perfect tonight. We played very, very
well. Four-nil for us is very important at home."
Having scored his fourth goal in 13 appearances for West Brom this term,
Rondon added: "I'm happy. I needed to score a goal. I have a lot of time without
a goal, but tonight is special with the goal. I'm happy."
Superfly V black Fletcher heaped praise on his front man, saying:
"He's probably the focal point of everything we do. He's having a fantastic
season. He's even gone up a level from last year.

whom he signed from Zenit St Petersburg in the summer of 2015.
"He's a good player and he's certainly upped his game from last year," Pulis

much English. His children weren't in school. They've got to school. His
children I think speak better English than Salomon does, but he understands it
now so he's become a bigger part of the group."
On the team display, Pulis added: "We're pleased. We scored the goals at the
right time and we grew in confidence from there. It's a pleasing performance, a
"Burnley are a good side, never stop. You're on your toes. I was hoping that
fourth would go in and then you think 'you can relax a little bit."
Burnley boss Sean Dyche, whose side dropped to 12th with the loss, lamented a
"really below-par performance".
