Sany Ranks as Top-Selling Excavator Brand in China for July 2016
According to the statistics from Chinese Construction Machinery business network, in July of this year, 27 major domestic excavator manufacturers sold 3669 excavators in total, with year-on-year growth of 13.17%. Sany sold 707 excavators across China over the month of July, coming out with the highest Hydraulic Excavators sales in the market.Caterpillar ranked the second with sales of 584, and Komatsu has rose to the third with sales of 246.
From the point of view of product model, in July, the sales volume of Small Excavator with 13 tonnage and below was 1684, accounted for 45.90% market share, the sales volume of 13to 30 (not including 30) tonnage medium excavator was 1502 which accounted for 40.94%; the sales volume of over 30 tonnage large excavator was 483 that accounted for 13.16% of the total sales. Compared with the statistics before, the medium excavator proportion is slightly rebounded. 
Sanytopped the small excavator sales list by the sales volume of 351 which accounting for 20.84% of the small excavator total sales in July. Medium Excavator and Big Excavator respectively ranked the second and the third of the sales list. Domestic brands have continued to dominate the excavator market in China, with a combined market share of 51%. Japanese and South Korean brands hold 29% of the market share, while European and American manufacturers hold 20%. http://www.sanyglobal.com
We see from the overall sales from January to July of 2016, Sany Heavy Machinery, Caterpillar, XCG are always stick in the first three place, and with the sales volume of 7950, 5788 and 2913. In the aspect of export, Sany Heavy Machinery and Caterpillar are still dominant, respectively with exporting volume of 1655 and 1196. Sany has firmly kept being the No.1. Some analysts said, July and August are the downturn months of excavatorsaling. Currently, the demand from industry downstream is steady, combined with a more positive fiscal policy, the third quarter’s Mini Digger sales volume is expecting to keep going up.
